Capacity BuildingStudents at CeSSIAM sponsored by the HGF 2011
Exchange Student Vignettes:
During 2011, CeSSIAM entertained 15 international students in projects. Thirteen of the students were based out of the Frances Reid Memorial Leadership Learning Center facility, an annex headquarters of CeSSIAM, in Quetzaltenango, the capital city of a Guatemalan Province in the Western Highlands. Two additional students were in the eastern region of Guatemala in either the Baja Verapaz or El Progreso Provinces.

Guatemalan Students and Staff Members:
Seven individuals of Guatemalan origin and nationality were involved with training and capacity building. Five of them performed research toward graduation requirements from Guatemalan universities in Guatemala. Two were staff members, who enrolled in European universities for graduate training, both toward an eventual doctoral degree.
